About SpiceFactory
SpiceFactory is an AI deployment studio for regulated industries. Twenty-five senior engineers, designers, and AI specialists deploy production systems into healthcare, mobility, IoT, and logistics teams — work where the validation package, the traceability matrix, and the audit-readiness are first-class deliverables, not afterthoughts. We don't bill by the hour, we don't do staff augmentation, and we don't ship decks. We ship working systems and hand off a trained internal champion.
We are SPFR
A decade of shipping into safety-critical systems
Since 2014, our work has been concentrated in environments where a bug becomes a recall, a patient complaint, or a compliance finding. That bias shows up in our defaults: HIPAA-aligned data plumbing, IEC 62304 / ISO 26262 traceability, ASPICE-ready evidence packs, audit-ready MLOps. The regulatory wrapper around AI is the product, not a constraint we work around.
The team behind the studio
Senior leaders across engineering, design, AI, and operations — anchored in Boston and Belgrade.
Work with SpiceFactory
Forward Deployed Engineering for regulated AI
We hire senior engineers, designers, AI specialists, and vertical SMEs who want to deploy on-site, not from a Jira ticket. If you want to ship production AI into healthcare, mobility, IoT, or logistics — and own the regulatory bar on the way out — we'd like to hear from you.

What you get when you engage us
-
We speak the regulator's language
HIPAA, FDA 510(k), IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 26262, ASPICE, IEC 62443, NIS2 — these aren't acronyms we look up. They're how we scope, build, and document every system we ship.
-
Three SKUs, no surprises
A 5-day Deployment Bootcamp at $75K fixed. A Deployment Pod at $85–120K/month with one regulated-AI milestone every six weeks. An Outcome Contract that names the binary state-change and gates final payment on it. No T&M, no decks-only.
-
Capability transfer is contractual
Every Pod milestone names an internal champion trained on the system. If no champion is named by week 12, we won't renew. We design for leaving — the IP library, the eval suite, and the integration patterns stay with you.
-
We own the outcome, then hand it off
We deploy the system, meet the regulatory bar, train the team that runs it, and leave. That's the work. If you need a vendor who will own one outcome — we're the fit.
